Copacabana

Home to one of the most iconic beaches in the world, Copacabana attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists each year. It isn’t as crowded with young athletes and surfers as Ipanema or Arpoador, and is bigger, quieter and more diverse, as a whole.

The neighbourhood has several delis, supermarkets and all kinds of services around. It boasts a famous bohemian nightlife with dozens of restaurants, nightclubs and traditional bars for all tribes and tastes.

Copacabana Beach hosts some of Rio's biggest music concerts, as well as the world's largest New Year's celebration, which attracts about two million people every year. Big companies like LVMH and Accor are making huge investments in hospitality in Copacabana, showing its resilience as an important focus for investments in property.

This area is easily accessible from the city center via any type of transport and is crossed by the city’s main cycle path. Urban and seaside life blend together harmoniously, with water sports and historic fishermen markets co-existing with modern city life.
