      Purpose-built resort Avoriaz combines a strategically sunny town with shady slopes, futuristic apartments with some of the best fun parks in the Alps and is a favourite with groups and families, giving properties here a good rental yield.  In comparison, the charming town of Les Gets is under an hour to Geneva, meaning you can hop on a flight in the morning and tucking into raclette on the slops comes lunch-time.  While small modern studios are more abundant in places like Avoriaz, chic chalet-style accommodation is more common in Châtel and Les Gets.
