The Three Valleys or Les Trois Vallées includes eight villages making up this eclectic cultural landscape of the French Alps. The Three Valleys comprises of more than 180 ski lifts, grouping together nearly 600km of skiable pistes. All snow cannons in the Three valleys are incredibly high tech and modern. The snow produced is UV filtered to eliminate bacterial and microbial risks. Ski lifts have been renewed over the last fifteen years. Ski resorts located at lower altitudes are connected by free shuttle buses and ski lifts to help connect all the villages in the Three Valleys.
Respecting the environment is important here, so villages tend not to attract wild partygoers and teenage visitors. There are a few bars and restaurants and après-ski activities, but mostly families and people looking for a relaxed atmosphere are attracted to ski here. Meribel and Courchevel tend to be preferred by cosmopolitan jet-setters where you can walk the streets or dine in one of the 60 restaurants (some of which are Michelin starred).
Join our upcoming webinar to learn why the cyclic nature of ownership of hotels in Méribel and the lack of skiers on the pistes over the last year has created a unique market dynamic for international investors in one of the most popular ski resorts in the entire French Alps.
