New Release of French Properties - Second Chance for Sainte-Foy Buyers

14 June

This week saw the release of a brand new collection of ski properties in the French Alp’s popular resort of Sainte-Foy, well renowned for its off-piste skiing. These properties have been eagerly awaited by French, British and international purchasers, particularly due to the success of the first phase of the development.

“The first part of this project sold extremely well back in 2009, especially considering that was possibly the worst period of the recession,” said Nicholas Leach, Partner at Athena Advisors. “This new release of apartments means that the people who missed out on the first phase now have another opportunity to secure one of these high-quality and fantastically located ski properties at a very competitive price.”

Located at the foot of the Sainte-Foy slopes these brand new apartments within the popular l’Etoile des Cimes development enjoy panoramic views over the Tarentaise Valley, feature spacious outside terracing and are less than 50% of the prices of similarly located properties in nearby Val d’Isere.

A range of one to four bedroom apartments are available with prices starting at €202,000. The properties will represent a new benchmark for high quality ski property in Sainte-Foy and each apartment comes complete with furniture pack including flat screen TV, parking and a ski locker. Owners will also have private access to dedicated spa and wellness facilities including indoor heated swimming pool and sauna.

“Whilst these new apartments will be finished to modern specifications, outside the building will be reminiscent of the surrounding Savoyard architecture,” added leach. “Sainte-Foy is said by many to be the most picturesque village in the Alps. It’s a truly authentic resort and ski guides from Val d’Isere have been bringing clients over to sample its off-piste for over 30 years.”
