La Tania

Built for the 1992 Winter Olympics, La Tania is one of the lowest built-for-purpose resort found in the Alps, at 1,350m in altitude. Given its proximity to Courchevel and Méribel, it is very popular choice for skiers. Although built-for purpose, the architecture of the village is charming, with wooden-clad buildings set against woodland landscape.

Both seasons see the village attract sports lovers, rather than those looking for a nightlife-heavy experience. There are some great runs through woods, which offer shelter during stormy winter days. There has been some much improved snowmaking amenities introduced in recent years, which make the area all the more attractive. Properties in the area are great value for money.
