Espace Killy

Given its altitude, Espace Killy does not offer many tree-lined runs, but it makes up for this with its size when all its resorts are combined. Espace Killy has nearly 100 high-speed ski lifts and 900 snow cannons, meaning queues are rare and the snow is abundant, essential for a great ski season.

The two main resorts that make up Espace Killy, Val D’Isère and Tignes offer a completely different experience. It is often said that Val D’Isère is popular for its après-ski, and some would even go as to call it Last Vegas on snow. Tignes, on the other hand, is known to attract the experienced skiers and extreme sports enthusiasts.

Despite the two offering drastically different atmospheres, they have both managed to retain their French ambience. Val D’Isère can be described as a more authentic French ski resort visually, whereas Tignes, with its Le Corbusier-style buildings and towering apartment blocks, is more clearly a built-for-purpose resort. Aesthetically speaking, Val D’Isère is the station most visitors tend to prefer.

That said, they both offer a range of fantastic restaurants and clubs to keep you having fun after the ski lifts have stopped.

Espace Killy offers two completely different takes on the ski resort and with over 300km of pistes and the highest lift at 3450m high, it will not disappoint; it is an interesting and attractive choice for potential buyers and most visitors always choose come back.

The experts say

The property market in Espace Killy
