Blessed with 300 days of sunshine and 8km of coastline comprising secluded coves and nine sandy beaches, Les Issambres is a delightful seaside town nestled between Sainte-Maxime and Fréjus in Provence, French Riviera. With its narrow streets and its charming port, Les Issambres boasts a good mix of modern architecture and traditional Provence homes. Ideal for families, the village has a lot to offer. From visiting the weekly market for fresh local produce before spending a long, lazy afternoon lying on the beach to hiring a sea kart (a unique vessel which combines the comfort of a tender with the thrill of water skiing) for an exhilarating day zipping through the Mediterranean, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Whilst only a 20 mins’ ferry trip from glamorous Saint-Tropez, life in Les Issambres is more laidback and the property prices here are more competitive too. It is also a great base for day trips as it is easy to access the villages of the Gulf of St Tropez without even needing to take the car - a good way to avoid the French Riviera’s signature traffic jams.
By air, Les Issambres is easily accessed via the nearby Nice or Toulon airports.
