With nine summits ranging from 1,600m to 2,070m in attitude, Espace Diamant is equipped with 85 modern ski lifts and a variety of runs that would excite beginners and challenge the experts alike. The wide offer of the region has caught the eye of a few investors, bringing more diversity of style to the region; however, there is a strong emphasis on keeping the region appealing and approachable, meaning that new buildings and developments are carefully controlled so as to not create a concrete jungle.
The resorts are al in close proximity to the slopes, meaning that you can wake up and head straight for your first run of the day without having to hustle and bustle to get to the chair lifts. Or you may simply take a walk on the newly built footbridge and have breakfast at one of the many restaurants and shops in the village surrounded by lovely Alps properties.
The region is ideal for price conscious families looking for a ski property for sale. Each town that makes up the Espace Diamant region offers great character and various fêtes and folklores throughout the year to partake in with your whole family, but the après-ski is not the main focus of the area. For a more sophisticated evening, Bisanne offers some nice upscale restaurants and champagne bars.
The region is not only incredible to ski – it is a haven for other outdoor activities. There are six marked footpaths that allow you to explore the mountains on foot or by snowshoeing. You can even get a new perspective on the mountain by climbing it or getting a ride around on a helicopter.
With the area being strongly linked with farming and agriculture, the summer offers green fields and restaurants filled with meals cooked with some of the freshest ingredients. New networks of VTT have been developed and now the region offers canyoning, rafting and paragliding activities, making it an attractive region all year round.
