New ski lift & facilities announced for Val d'Isere’s Solaise

15th May 2015

Hold on to your hats, goggles and gloves, a new lift system and other facilities have been announced for the Solaise area of Val d’Isere.

In a new video, Val d’Isere Telepheriques, the company management the entire Val d’Isere lift system has teased us all with a sneak peak of what will be in store for those visiting this hugely popular resort in 2016.

As well as a brand new high-speed 10 person telecabine the plans also include an adrenaline fueled snow-tubing course where those brave enough hurtle themselves down the mountain on nothing but a rubber ring.

The new lift will be able to whisk up to 3600 skiers per hour to 2550m in just 7 minutes. Each cabin will be wifi-ready enabling people to post their snowbound exploits in between runs.
