Hitting the slopes in summer at the mountain biking world cup17th June 2014
Meribel is known throughout the world as one of the must-see ski resorts and being in the 3 Valleys the world’s largest ski domain) means it is on the visit list of every serious skier. This reputation has been upheld not only through local infrastructure investment and word-of-mouth recommendations but also with the help of national and online media.
Furthermore Meribel is no stranger to organising international events ever since it played its part in the Albertville Winter Olympics of 1992. It’s also been twelve years since France played host to Mountain Bike World Cup finals and this year the resort is hosting the exclusive and eagerly awaited final stage of the biggest event in the mountain biking calendar. The large number of spectators expected for this event demonstrates the importance of this sport to the area.
Meribel has always been a popular place for skiing second home owners and investors and with such large scale events happening during the summer too, the resort becomes even more compelling. Perhaps our best located property in Meribel is Aspen Park and Lodge. Positioned right on the bottom of the slopes and also in the buzzing centre of the village is this fantastic range of luxurious two to five bedroom apartments.
